Meet the Jersey Village Team Behind Otto’s Garage Door
We’re not a franchise and we don’t have a rotating cast of subs. The people who show up at your door in Jersey Village are the same people you’ll see at the hardware store on Saturday. Otto built this crew one hire at a time since 2004, and every one of them lives within twenty minutes of the shop. What unites us is simple: we fix the door right the first time, we tell you the truth about what’s wearing out, and we answer the phone when you call, even at nine at night when a spring lets go and your truck is trapped in the garage. These are the folks who’ll be at your house.
Our People
Otto Reinhardt – Owner, Lead Technician
Otto founded Otto’s Garage Door in 2004 and still takes calls, quotes jobs, and shows up with tools in hand. If the phone rings after hours, it’s often Otto himself on the line, telling you honestly whether it can wait until morning or needs attention now. He’s trained across every major brand we service: LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, Craftsman, and Raynor. Otto counts spring cycles the way most people count tire miles, and he’ll tell you what’s left on yours before it fails. He’s the one who wrote the 90-Day Done Right Promise onto every invoice, and he’s the one who answers if it ever needs to be honored.
Marcus T. – Senior Installer
Marcus has been hanging doors with Otto for over a decade and has installed everything from a basic steel pan door in a 1970s Jersey Village rancher to full custom carriage-house doors on new construction near Jersey Meadows. He’s meticulous about track alignment and door balance, and he can spot a binding roller from across the driveway. Marcus handles most of our new door installations and full tear-out replacements, and he’s the guy who walks the homeowner through the finished job before he packs up. Outside of work, he’s usually under the hood of a 1987 Chevy pickup he’s been restoring since high school.
Sandra V. – Service Coordinator
Sandra is the voice you’ll hear when you call during the day, and she’s been keeping Otto’s schedule straight for six years. She knows the difference between a door that won’t open and a door that won’t close, and she’ll ask the right questions so the first truck roll has the right parts on board. Sandra is the one who confirms your time window, explains the free second opinion offer, and makes sure the senior and veteran discount gets applied without you having to ask twice. She grew up in Jersey Village and has strong opinions about the best breakfast tacos within a five-mile radius. Do not ask unless you have time for the full list.
Diego R. – Apprentice Technician
Diego joined Otto’s crew two years ago and is working through his training under Otto and Marcus. He handles roller replacements, sensor alignment, weatherseal installs, and opener programming, and he’s already earned a reputation for being thorough about cleaning up the work area before he leaves. Diego carries a notebook in his tool bag and writes down every torque spec and spring gauge Otto throws at him. He’s fluent in Spanish and English, which comes in handy for a county this diverse. When he’s not on a ladder, he’s coaching his nephew’s little league team in the spring.
One Standard, Every Job
Every person on this page works to the same rule: the price quoted on the phone is the price at the door, and if the job isn’t done right, one call brings Otto back within ninety days. No runaround, no customer-service queue, no “the warranty department will reach out.” The name on the van is the name on the invoice and the name on the license. Our crew shows up background-checked and uniformed, and they carry Otto’s name on their back every time they knock on a door in Jersey Village, Cypress, Tomball, or anywhere else in the county we serve. A door is two hundred pounds riding on two springs. Respect it, and respect the person whose car is stuck behind it. That’s the standard, and it doesn’t change depending on which of us shows up.
